Take Supply Chain Issues On-Demand Supplier-Management Platform

January 25, 2010

Take Supply Chain has released OneSCM, a new platform to provide for online supplier management to medium-sized and large companies. The application is being provided via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. According to the vendor, it allows manufacturers and distributors to manage supplier responses in line with purchase-order schedules, while handling aspects of shipment execution such as part tracking numbers, barcode label printing and shipments. OneSCM, Take’s first software release featuring a multi-tenant SaaS architecture, will provide the foundation for a series of products to be released over the next several quarters. Take has traditionally developed on-premise supply-chain applications for manufacturers and distributors. The new release features a unified set of applications, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable Automation and Accounts Payable Automation. They are available separately or as fully integrated modules. OneSCM offers pre-built integration with SAP and Oracle, along with industry-standard interfaces such as PIDX and RosettaNet.

"Since implementing [TAKE Supply Chain]'s solution, our inventory is visible throughout the enterprise, and we can more easily identify products and prioritize them for shipping. This enables us to track the flow of products in and out of our warehouse and reduces the time our warehouse employees spend searching for inventory."
